Bonno has a Bachelors Degree in Studio art from the University of Texas at Austin with honors. His work has appeared in National Lampoon Magazine, The L.A. Weekly, The WGA Magazine (as well on TV shows like Talk Soup, The Gilmore Girls and Caroline in the City). He has an upcoming show in April in San Francisco at the Art and Architecture Gallery with artists who are also comedians that include Rick Shapiro, Dean Haglund and Brett Gilbert.

His original paintings and drawings are in the collections of artists, actors and producers including: Laraine Newman, Paul Provenza, Kelly Carlin, Hal Sparks, Cheryl Hines, Rick Shapiro, Andy Kindler, B.J. Porter, Dylan Brody, Zack Ward, Johnny Hardwick (King of the Hill), Emery Emery (The Aristocrats), Gary Stockdale (Aristocrats), Dean Haglund (The X-Files, The Lone Gunmen), Rick Overton (Dinner With Shmucks, Chaos), John Andrews (Producer Beavis and Butthead, Daria, Aeon Flux) and many, many more.
